Very nice Clos des Hospices again, yellow orchard fruit, bottle seemed to have more age than the last one hut still gorgeous finesse, freshness and elegance. — 3 years ago
Offered as an extra after the 5 Pinots. Bery nice showing as well, especially for the vintage, finesse and elegance and of good level too. 90-91

Some floral and white fruit hints in the nose, very balanced wine with classe and elegance, finesse rather then weight but still has enough richness, very good right now. — 2 years ago
Blind tasting of 5 pinots. A wine with great balance between all elements, dark fruits, earthy and a slight touch if noble oak. Very nice for a 2016 of that producer who usually requires time in bottle. My No 3 but close to 1. No 1 for the panel. 92-93 — 3 years ago
Très bon vin — 5 months ago
2020 vintage. The last vintage for this wine as it was bought from the Bécot family ( owners of Beauséjour-Bécot) by the owners of Haut-Brion in 2021. It will be incorporated into Château Quintus (which is a merger of 3 estates: Tertre-Daugay, L'Arrosée and Grand-Pontet). Many Saint-Emilion estates disappeared, incorporated into other estates, some very good wines sadly disappeared like Curé Bon La Madeleine (now into Canon), Cadet-Piola (now into Soutard) and so on. The fact that Grand Cru Classés can legally be incorporated into Premier Grands Crus Classés tells you that you have to take the classification with more than a grain of salt. A bit shy on the nose, even after a few hours. Medium-bodied, nice value for a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé. — 2 years ago
Very Pinot like nose, also spices and some “cellar scents” but lots of spices, the profile and palate looks Nebbiolo like with a tight, powerful and dry finish, but also lots of class and elegance, very good 91-92
91-92 — 3 years ago

2018 vintage. Open for business. Tasted three bottles with consistent notes. All three decanted. No sed. Medium/medium-heavy body. Smoky, plummy nose. Bright Rainier cherry mixed in with nose impressions along with some candied raspberry and astringent rose petals. Wanted slightly more tannin involvement but methinks they’re smoking ciggies, playing cards and just waiting for the kids to fall asleep. 7.27.24. — 3 months ago
