A nice, easy to drink, robust Cab — 3 years ago
Brief notes - this is the standard Chardonnay - the individual Cuvées are more expensive. This was most impressive for the standard, reflecting the excellent vintage in most parts of Australia including the Yarra Valley. Citrus more than stone fruit. Easy to drink. — 6 months ago
Brief notes. Bright red fruits - ripe rich strawberry and cherry flavours. A little whole bunch influence and a touch of spice. More fruit driven than Lusatia Park normally is. The block has been sold to de Bortoli and no longer in the Giant Steps portfolio. This wine - 97 points from James Halliday. — 10 months ago
Mealy, brioche, mixed with fresh lemon and slate. Perfect balance of steely mineral, lemon sweetness, and buttery brioche. Wombat creek has been my favourite single vineyard Giant Steps a few times. This is outstanding. A complete wine. — 3 years ago

See 4 previous notes on Delectable for the 2015 Primavera. This is my last bottle. The whole bunch stalky elements have toned down in the last few years. More balanced with the red fruits. Perhaps that was Steve Flamsteed’s plan and it needed to be cellared for at least 9 years.? — 3 months ago
