Smells: Wood stove smoke, something nutty / red meat
Tastes: makes me think of a really good deli sandwich, good bread with a healthy portion of meaty-ness, — 5 years ago
Those “”Frenchies” know how to do Granach. This wine is the epitome of what I would eat a pulled pork barbecue sandwich with. It is so hard to pair any barbecue sauce ( especially one that is a little sweet) this is a match made in heaven — 6 years ago
Nailed it with a steak sandwich pairing. Boo-yah. — 3 years ago
Bright citrus, nice acids. Great mouthfeel. Pairing nicely with this Brie and fig sandwich. — 3 years ago
Good at 55 degrees, but even better at 40! Nose of strawberries, brie, walnut, sourdough bread. Enters with small bubbles, crisp, acidity in check. Crisp red apple, strawberries, hint of young raspberry. Finishes with more rounded edges and creamier notes -- strawberry sorbet! I would have never guessed that this was an 06 Vintage Rose. I think this one has a whole LOT of life left in it and will keep all the other bottles in the back! Went insanely well with a pastrami sandwich with coleslaw and bacon! — 5 years ago
Looking for another Pinot Grigio and saw this with a great rating. Opened 2020 for sipping with friends in Texas and everyone complimented the wine. It is crisp, refreshing and aroma that suggests peach and melon with touch of honeysuckle as noted elsewhere. It will be a part of my collection for daily enjoyment! By the way, went well with grilled portobello and cheese sandwich. — 3 years ago
My true Lambrusco love - earthy (farty) crunchy red berries and pomegranate, super dry, juicy acid, great level of frizz. Woven cloth label is not to be ignored. This is such a killer food wine - muffaletta sandwich from Lucca for lunch and leftover Indian for dinner. Detecting an inkling of mouse at dinner so drink quickly. Shouldn’t be hard. — 5 years ago

Strawberries, creamy, cotton candy, peach & pear. Went well with cheese & a turkey sandwich, but not strawberries — a year ago
