Liquorice and pomegranate plus strong hints of dark fruits. Amazingly juicy and spices. Full-bodied with tannins balanced by residual sugars. Definitely my taste. — 3 years ago
Pleasantly floral and fresh, the 2021 Soave Classico opens with a blend of spring flowers, lime and melon. It's silky and round on the palate, slightly oily in texture, with crisp orchard fruits and juicy acidity to balance. The 2021 tapers off with a lovely inner sweetness contrasted by a tinge of saline minerals. (Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2023) — 3 years ago

Bright berries with cherry, hint of vanilla and oak notes. Call me crazy but getting some subtle black pepper. Medium tannin and acidity. Pleasant. — 6 years ago

If this was a Bordeaux it would be $50+. Silky peppery tannins, great balance. — 6 years ago
Wine-aisle stop-worthy just because of the traffic light red flashing here! Just the color alone draws in the consumer from the other pale roses blending in with the crowd. This red-blooded Italian exudes pomegranate-driven flavors and dry cranberry. It’s sangria without the sugar, fruit floaties or patience.
