Even though the Tench Cab was drinking pretty tight it was still excellent and expressive with fine, sexy, controlled tannins, loads of baking spices, plums, blackberries, boot leather, clove, and lavender. . — 6 years ago

This was the showstopper. A brand new wine brought to you by the Bevan dream team and it was amazing. This is the one wine I continually came back for, revisiting it time and time again. Lovely tannins, balanced structure (even for a 2017). Love this wine. — 6 years ago
The Bevan team made their way to Fort Worth back in Oct and we had a lot of fun. Such a fun group! We were also able to visit them in Feb in Napa but we only tasted ‘16s.
Yes, they’re a lively bunch for sure. Russell’s quote of the night: “Keller TBA is not a wine you consume *with* someone you love, it’s a wine you consume *on* someone you love. The navel provides the perfect receptacle to drink from.” He’s a hoot.

Beautiful bottle in the style of which our Swiss friends have the secret. Diolinoir grape variety reminiscent of Syrah with less violette notes. Black fruits, sharp acidity, and drying tannins. Spicy. Flexible and marked by liquorice. Good balance. 🇨🇭

Chocolate covered strawberries? A suggestion of them anyway. And yes a dash of vanilla to the nose as mentioned on the back label.

Sipping Fine Wine
Light creamy mousse, tiny bubbles, with aromas of stone and citrus fruits, underlying toasty notes. On the palate flavors of black fruits with citrus zest, honeysuckle and chalky nuttiness. Lively acidity with good balance, long finish ending with fruit, biscuit and chalky notes. Drink now. — 3 months ago
