@ADAM STROMFELD @Frank @Kevin Ortzman Meri-Taaaah-gio!!! This older vintage showed great, not sure what happened to the more recent blends, but they could learn something from this style. @David L great late night choice from @Mike R ‘s cellar. — 7 years ago
Super crisp and delicious. But what I love more than this wine are the blurry folks in the background @David L @Mike R @Shawn R @Bill Bender - great Sauvignon Blanc Lunch (plus one cab) with great friends @Martin G Rivard

As my friend @Martin G Rivard would say; Badass in a glass. Deep, dark fruit balanced nicely with earth and spice. Viscous for a Pinot. Keeps going and going. Wishing my Delectable crew a very Happy New Year, filled with peace, health, and happiness the entire year through. @Ron R @David L @Mike Rowe @Martin G Rivard @Carl Fischer @Eric Peltier @Eric Shanks @TheSkip @Erika Birg @Bill Bender @Paul T @Eric Peltier @Laura Mokhiber @Mo Salem @Jody Scharf @ADAM STROMFELD @Frank @Kevin Ortzman @Mike Goldstein @Bob Miller @Kimberly Anderson @Aminah Fawad @David Bettencourt — 8 years ago

I am certain that my posse will smoke me tonight as they are at napa valley premiere auction so @David L @Joe Lucca and @ADAM STROMFELD go ahead do so - so damn jealous
I decided to pull this as I know it delivered in the past on other vintages so here we go
This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with 950 Cases produced
This has so many things it is hard to put them all in but taste vanilla, cherries with notes of toasty oak, espresso and a chocolate twist.
This baby has structure and is a true mid-palate cab with fine tannins with a looooong finish
This is essence of Big Bold and Beautiful and a really true statement of a Napa cab with a great winemaker at the helm as I feel Robert Foley is in my opinion am underrated wine maker
The smell contains aromas of sweet blackberries, cassis, forest floor, and spring flowers- this baby jumps from the glass to show you what a full-bodied, opulent, structured wine should be - textured, layered mouthfeel displays absolutely no burn - it is so ready to drink so enjoy and mindful that this might have another 5 years left
All smiles tonight — 7 years ago
Lovely old world white burg style. Paraffin, tangerine zest, oak, and white flowers on the nose. Sweet Meyer lemon, nectarine, peach, wet slate, and some lemongrass. Finishes nice and clean.
Wishing all the dads out there a very Happy Father's Day! @Mike R @Ron R @Martin G Rivard @David L @ADAM STROMFELD @Bill Bender @Jody Scharf @Shawn R @Kevin Ortzman @Frank — 7 years ago
It’s easy going…Petrol on the nose, with a wisp of honey. Quite soft, yet crisp on the palate. David pointed out the sugar, and it’s evident. This would pair nicely with foie gras. Tasing white peach and lemons on the finish. Moderate acidity - drinking window is now. — 5 years ago
First growth SB cuz we country clubbin’. Viscosity and complexity for days. Light amber in the mid day sun, Yeasty wet barley aromatics, candied pear, marzipan and honey (yes! @David L you are spot on there). This isn’t for everybody and it doesn’t have light clean lines but it is a perfect representation of this Bordeaux blend and I enjoyed it while putting horrendously with @Mike R @Shawn R @David L it’s been so damn fun reconnecting with @Joe Lucca @Martin G Rivard @Carl Fischer @Kirk Alexander and meeting Rutgers finest @ADAM STROMFELD — 7 years ago
Boom! Off the charts good and great QPR for white burg. White flowers, mandarin skin, white fig and honey on the nose. The palate explodes with apricot, tart apple, beeswax, and some toasted brioche. Crisp and complex mineral driven acidity, nicely balanced. Could use another year or three. @Martin G Rivard @David L try this side by side to the Texture. Thanks to @ADAM STROMFELD for the recommendation. — 8 years ago
