Blend of 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier, pale lemon color with aromas of citrus, floral and biscuit notes, fine bubbles and light mousse, on extended lees aging. On the palate flavors of crisp apples, peach and lemon notes, savory mineral, complex. Long ending with fruit and slight toasty biscuit character. — 9 months ago

An impressively attractive salmon colored robe with lively effervescence. The nose is amazing. Just the right amount of everything good. Red apples and underripe cherries for days. There’s an undercurrent of spice throughout this champagne starting here that’s positively lovely. Peaches and pastries, along with a touch of smoke.
Predominately Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs with a smattering of Pinot Noir. In the world of non vintage rosé champagnes, this stands near the top. Elegant and dry, there’s outstanding balance here and it improves in the glass over time. Restrained red fruit on the palate with some citrus peeking through. More spice on the long finish that leaves you wanting more. A superb champagne. — 10 months ago

Very fruit forward and sumptuous. You can tell this wine had a method behind the craftsmanship. Delicious with apple/pear juices. Very dry and delicious. — 3 years ago

Celebrating an LNP win in the Qld State Election. Aromatics of citrus, also Granny Smith apple which persist on the palate with great length. Reflecting the excellent vintage and excellent producer. 9 years on lees. After all, this is basically the 2nd label of Salon. A very good BdB. See previous Delectable note. One of the 1001 Wines. — a month ago
