Wonderful smell of cherries and strawberries. Taste is sour cherries and feels a bit tight like it is holding back from more flavor. First sip also revealed a bit of burnt wood. Great with meal of artichoke stuffed chicken with Swiss. I’m thinking if I wait a few years it might be better. — 5 years ago

Just had a small taste, but very impressive. Petrol, honey, and acid. — 5 years ago
Still young. Power and great structure, as you might expect from Gevrey-Chambertin. Performs well above the station of a Bourgogne level wine. — 6 years ago
Lieu dit village wine showing intense limestone character. Reduction on the nose, eventually leading to more pure aromatics of damp redwood forest, black raspberries, gravel, licorice and sweet baking spices. Slightly charred caramel component, highly suggestive of toasted oak. A bit hollow in the mid palate but with grainy and persistent tannins. Intense, earthy, a bit funky and angular. — 7 years ago

This could pass as a fine Village wine but I couldn’t find the Grand in this Cru. Good structure and mouthfeel, fully mature. — 3 years ago
