I have enjoyed this producers vineyard over many vintage and this might be the best.
The 22 vintage is stunning and as good as it is, 23 might be better based on a somewhat limited exposure at this point.
The entry is glorious…such balance and wire to wire it doesn’t change much.
Green apple, perfect lemon & lime pulp into subtle candy, grapefruit, white stone fruit, kiwi, tropical melons, pineapple, cream reduction, saline, perfect sea fossils, fine powdery taut chalkiness, crisp volcanics, white spice, grey volcanic minerals, limestone marl, mix of fresh & dry stubble herbs, honeysuckle, light caramel, warm lightly done toast, yellow florals, spring flowers with greens, grand waterfall acidity, beautiful structure-tension, incredible balance with an elegant finish that lasts two-minutes and long sets on volcanic minerals and spice.
Decanted 1 hour.
When I first started buying this bottling, it was $50-$60, now $150. Might be my last bought. My white spend has a more limited range than my red. Don’t think I’m alone.

I thought this was a great wine. Already showed some fresh cut garden hose characteristics! 13.5%. Classic! Big for a Riesling. Had this at a business function so could not write more notes. Wormwood Restaurant San Diego - is almost sold out. 2 bottles left and at 75$/Restaurant a steal these day’s. Get it while it is still there!!! What a wine. — a year ago
I love a Provence Róse with a little age to it! Presents with cherries, strawberries, melon, nectarine, and cucumber. Nice viscosity on the palate, nice long herbal finish, with a touch of lavender. I prefer Rock Angel over Whispering, which has a bitter floral element to it that bites, just my taste preference. — a year ago

Love it, great freshness, long aftertaste, amazing taste! — 5 months ago
WOW!!!! 2017 Chateau Gloria Saint-Julien , Domaines MARTIN. - Bordeaux France!!!!!!! I have finally found an exceptional bordeaux that rocks my taste buds! The color is dark burgundy. The legs are long and slow. On the nose, there’s lots of rhubarb pie and violets! My initial pallet is tantalized with explosions of blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, and chocolate. The mid pallet quickly resolves into a velvety, slightly buttered texture. Then there is a dive straight to the finish with lots of earthy oak and cigar box with a very moderately dry finish. . This is a good one!!!!!! We purchased this in Ireland and brought it home to the USA. Unfortunately, we only bought one bottle which is already halfway gone and I’m sure as you’re reading this, it will be completely gone. — a year ago

Sainte Céline – Chablis – Chardonnay – 2024
Chablis AOC – Burgundy – France 🇫🇷
Overview
A value-driven Chablis crafted from estate parcels with an average vine age of around 30 years, emphasizing freshness, purity, and classic Chablis character. The 2024 vintage delivers exactly what Chablis lovers seek: clarity, tension, and terroir-driven precision without excess weight or oak influence.
Aromas & Flavors
Bright lemon zest, green apple, and white peach lead the nose, followed by subtle hints of oyster shell, crushed chalk, and wet stone. Clean citrus flavors dominate the palate, supported by saline minerality and a touch of fresh herbs.
Mouthfeel
Crisp, dry, and refreshing, with lively acidity and a lean, energetic frame. The texture is linear and precise, carrying freshness from entry through a snappy, mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairings
Oysters, clams, shrimp, ceviche, grilled white fish, sushi, goat cheese, or simple aperitif sipping. A natural partner for seafood-forward dishes.
Verdict
A reliable, classic Chablis that consistently delivers brightness, balance, and typicity. Zesty, clean, and effortlessly drinkable, this is Chablis that does the job beautifully and never disappoints.
Did You Know?
Chablis’ signature minerality comes from its Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich in fossilized marine life, which give wines their unmistakable chalky and saline edge.
