De c-EYE-ear. We opened this and it smelled like paint. Not the beat way to impress a date. But ive never seen a wine open so quickly. Within 15 minutes this wine showed the profile classic to Ribera Del Duoro wines. This js a great value if you can find it, an even better winery if you're going to do the tour. — 8 years ago

This is a truly great wine. You do not have to put your nose in the glass.... it is there and it stays there. WoW. Red fruit, tar, leather, black fruit, sandelwood. Close to perfection for me.

A blend of Godello, Doña Blanca and Colgadeira (?) from very old vines in Val do Bibei village of Manzaneda. Fermented and raised 6 months in 2nd use French barrels. 735 bottles for her first vintage.
Sexy texture and weight to this wine, it takes more of the oak onto itself than the Palomino. Pear skins, bees wax, wet granite, and a hint of vanilla on the finish. Needs scallops or lobster type of seafood fo' shizzle. — 10 years ago
