Not fruity but still very tasty. Definitely buy again — 2 years ago
Tasted very good. Pretty good amount of fruit. Lighter bodied. Good amount of alcohol. Surprisingly not a lot of dried fruit or jam notes. More fresh fruit and some nuts. — 8 days ago
A little caramel on the nose and the first part of taste was not much but opened up midpalate to finish with caramel and spices.
This was a half bottle that cost $13.79 back in the day. Had this with dessert at Le Virtú in Philly — 9 months ago
So freaking good and well balanced. One of my favorite poets I’ve had. — 9 months ago
Almost brown with a little red colour in the center, typical tawny nose with alcohol, nuts and earth. On the palate first red fruits followed by strong walnut taste. Extremely long finish , at least 30 sec , brilliant — 4 years ago
love indigenous grape blends. 30% Rabigato, 30% Viosinho, 20% Arinto, 20% Gouvieo — 3 months ago
Touriga Nacional (40%), Touriga Franca (20%), Tinta Roriz (30%), Tinta Barroca (10%). Medium to deep purple. Medium body, medium tannin at most, medium acidity, dry. Some slight funk on the nose, in a very good way. Wet rocks, violets, light baking spices. Better after open for a day. Benchmark Duero for what I can find in the US so far. — 5 months ago
Pulled this out of my special collection. The cork fell apart, but I managed to get most of it out. I’ve never had a port as smooth. Smells and tastes of a really good British Christmas pudding. Shared with my lovely family and in-laws on one of our last nights in the States before heading back to Catalunya. Seems like it still has most of its character, so I would open 1985 now and not wait any longer. — a year ago

On the nose : Cocoa/mocha, ground ginger, menthol/resin. Milk chocolate, raisin on the palate. A bit of a chocolate dessert in a glass. — 4 hours ago
