A bit of a different profile from prior vintages. Much more plush, juicy and fruit forward. (Warmer/riper vintage?) Dark Ruby red/purple color. More fruit forward aromas and flavors of dark cherry, black raspberry, vanilla, fresh herbs, tobacco, graphite and a slight hint of pine needles. Touch of black licorice on the long and lingering finish. Soft tannins. Very deep and complex. Consistently great mountain red. — 2 years ago

Roughly 50% Petite Rouge with the balance being a field blend of Coralin, Fumin, Mayolet, Vien de Nus and Gamay. Medium garnet color. Aromas and flavors of red and black cherry, purple flowers, black raspberry, cranberry, almonds and pepper spice. Nice rustic and smoky earthiness on the long finish. Medium-minus body, light tannins and beautifully balanced. Needs some time to open up. Small production and unique. Excellent choice, Petey P! Love this producer! Revisited in September 2024. Quite a unique crowd pleaser. — 3 months ago
This red blend from Valle d'Aosta was remarkably smooth and light on its feet considering it's 14% ABV. Notes of red fruit on the nose and berry jam on the palate. Very enjoyable! A blend of Petite Rouge, Cornalin, Mayolet, and Fumin. 6/14/23. — 2 years ago
My first fumin. Dark fruit, earth, spice, leather. For a wine that was 6 years old, it still had a remarkable Alpine freshness to it that I found to be very exciting. Will definitely try others! 90% Fumin, 10% Syrah. 8/14/22. — 3 years ago

70% Picotendro (local Nebbiolo clone), 30% Gros Vien, Neyret, Cornalin and Fumin. Light, 13%, nice spicy fruit with a little bitterness on the end. Not tannic whatsoever. Very interesting wine. — a month ago
