Love the dried fruit (Black Current and fig ) to go along with blueberry. The wine exhibits both power and finesse and has a very pleasant lingering finish — 4 years ago

Gorgeous. Thought we'd waited too long to open this 2008, but it's amazing. Ripe cherries, a touch of port, and a little forest floor. Really special. — 6 years ago
The George De Latour always delivers an exceptional glass of wine! The last bottle we had was in 2012 ( a gift from our good friend Charlie) after a 60 day cleanse and then as now it delivers that special quality we all want from a glass of wine. PERFECT! Anniversary Trip to Palm Springs! — 6 years ago
One of the most perfectly balanced light white wines I’ve ever tasted.
Far too easy to drink, would pair excellently with fresh salad dishes.
The perfect wine for entertaining yourself on a sunny day...

A little lighter in body than a lot of cabs. Not overly tannic. Smooth and drinkable. — 7 years ago
Nice wine and very good for the price — 9 months ago
Estate dates back to Crusades & Scottish navigator, George Smith, owner in the 18th century. Blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot aged in 20% new oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry, herbs and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of plum, cherry & currant with notes of pepper, tobacco & cacao notes. Soft rich full tannins, long finish ending with fruit, earthy and mineral character, needs a little more time. — 3 years ago
An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 5 years ago

I love a bottle of cab I can open and right away tastes good. Another amazing cab from AJ Pearce. Full bodied with nice structure. Slight tannins to round out. — 6 years ago
An explosion of dark ripe cherry, plum and BlackBerry. Hot at 15% a.b.v. , but smooth with no burn.
Mild tannins, lingering finish. If your reading this, please try it. $15 at my local liquor store.
One of the best red blends I've tried.
Paired with red potatoes, veg. Medley and roasted chicken. — 7 years ago

Campari but…better? — 4 years ago
Dark and fruity from my favourite region. We don’t get many varieties from MD Winery in Canada and this one tops what we get. Fruit forward and a solid finish. Will be adding a case or two to my cellar. Yup. It has legs and it worth the buy. — 6 years ago
Really loving this wine! Bright green apple acidity with a spicy herbal finish. I should have ordered more! This will definitely be a summer go to! — 6 years ago
Delicious expression of the grape. Paired well with frenched rack of lamb that was, admittedly, not at all gamey, rather rare and only lightly garlic-pepper treated. — on Weds half price day at Cassava in SF’s Outer Richmond on Balboa St. Nice nose. Sweet up front, tart mid palate back to wild gooseberry on the soft finish. Tiny bits of licorice, vanilla, orange-clover honey. Clean. Fresh. Excellent mouthfeel. — 7 years ago

Aged and in a magnum. What a fancy bottle. Joy to try this. Hint of rust red on the edge of the color. Nose is cherry cordial and herbs. Sage, marjoram, fresh wood. Flavors are lovely. Still has zip. Herbal. Lush. Complex. This is lovely aged Syrah. Has a bit of mystery and is nicely aged. — 6 months ago
