Grant Burge

Meshach Barossa Red Blend 2012

2012 vintage. Heavy/full body. Aggressively-oaked nose (still...after a decade+). Dark as motor oil. Plenty of ripe fruits with the entire endeavor in (somewhat) check. Some tannins bringing up the rear after the call was placed. Not amongst my usual jams but well made. Punch/takeoff for another two decades should it come to that. 4.21.24. — 8 months ago

Glen Carlou

Paarl Chardonnay 2020

Fruit forward, but with nice butter and oak notes. Good with BBQ, but the oakiness can be overpowered by the food. — 7 months ago

Laurel Glen Vineyard

Galen Glen

Stone Cellar Grüner Veltliner

Ah Gruner.

Nice clear pale yellow.

Melon, mineral, tropical fruits, pineapple, and a bit of petrol.

Slight slight effervescent quality. Great, solid expression of gruner. Chalky, loamy, pineapple, and limestone.
