2019 edition. A little thin compared to prior years. Might be due to the relatively weak/disappointing 2019 KBS base. Nevertheless, the bourbon and maple syrup are both present and water nice. The alcohol is well balanced, it doesn't feel hot at all like other imperial stouts. — 4 years ago
Classic dry Riesling, hints of petroleum, lemony citrus and minerals. Aftertaste lingers. Around here it’s hard to find dry Riesling which is always a pleasure to discover a good one. — 6 months ago
Made nice Father’s Day mimosas, finished the rest with dinner tonight. A little sweeter than our usual preference, but after hiding in the cellar forgotten for over a decade, turned out really nice. — 3 years ago
Nice Riesling, although I personally consider this more of a sweeter wine. It’s easy to drink. — 4 years ago
It’s been three years since my last review of this little slice of double trouble. Loose and thorny crown of creamy white with cartoon bone lacing plus bubble font. Golden overall, but reddish tinges turn it pink. Banana bread, with honey butter, a bit of molasses and orange marmalade scented, but the breakfast stops there. Healthy dollops of of honey buoy herbs de Provence, golden apple, juniper sharpness, lemon-arabica, pecan, and extra lavender. .
