This wine will evolve into one of the best Brunello di Montalcino’s, just spin a bit too tight at this moment to show off the exceptional aromatics and structure. Dried red and white rose petals, English breakfast tea, charred plum, Cohiba cigar. — 3 months ago
Amazing! Superbly drinkable but barnyardy & complex.
Purchased repeatedly from Bari on 3rd.
Imported by: Vinity Wine Co — 2 years ago
Medium deep ruby with garnet rim . Freshly cut herbs like sage and rosemary with cedar , plum and dark cherry , liquorice . On the palate quite dense but with fresh acidity and firm slightly dry tannins . More of the plum and dark spiced cherry , blackberry, herbal and liquorice touches on the reasonable length finish . Drinking well now though will continue to show well over the next 5 years . Slightly under the radar with good personality and surprising freshness . — 23 days ago

Outstanding meal at Ophelia in Quebec City. Austere, lean wine. Softened 30 min after opening. — 18 days ago
A really nice bottle. Full body white - granche Blanc gives it a nice robust mouth feel and flavour. — a year ago
A captivating display of blackberry, plum, grilled herbs, cedar dust and balsamic spice wafts up from the 2016 Mille e una Notte. It’s silky in texture and polished in feel, offering ripe black fruits lifted by cooling minerality. This remains tightly wound up in its youthful state, as a fine coating of sweet tannin settles in to create a structured finale, with pretty purple-tinged florals and hints of licorice lingering long. The 2016 may be one of the most refined expressions of Mille e Una Notte that I’ve ever tasted, but it will need some time to show its best. This is composed primarily of Nero D'Avola, Petit Verdot and Syrah, which is expertly refined in new barriques for 14 months. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2021)

Ceccherini Cristiano
Disappointing
Specially in relation to the price
This is the first important label from donnafugata, first release dates back to the 80s i reckon
It falls short, it isn't bad,but i reckon this would be in a wine shop 180/200 dollars
It must be better — 20 days ago
