Leithaberg DAC Chardonnay 2022

Austrian Chard from slate & limestone. So so full, creamy, & crackling in energy; waxed yellow fruit, yellow popsicle, & butternut squash notes. 7 months aged on lees & it shows. Draw dropping. ‘Natural’ winemaking couple, which I feel is almost a distracting term for such a profound, delicious & even a bit classically styled wine. At about 20$ on sale give me breathing salts. — 22 days ago

Südtirol Kretzer Rosé Lagrein 2021

Shade: red tinged cranberry, almost like a christmassy red

Aroma: red fruit, spice, cloves, sage, woodsy

Wow, flavor bomb forreal. Packs a punch of red fruit, juicy acidity, tart, cherries, little woodsiness comes through

Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Pfalz Sauvignon blanc. Fascinating portal into the kind of detailed palate & bright fruits possible for this varietal in Germany. Think more Loire than NZ. Impressive acidity. — 2 years ago
