Pale ruby in color; cherries, hibiscus, and cloves on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like raspberries, tart cherries, and wet slate with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it (she says it's tart and chimically), but I love it. — 2 years ago
Floral notes on the nose — roses, hibiscus, plus mint, and the dry fragrance of sun-bleached wood. Strawberries on the front. Medium tannic structure. Black tea high notes with hint mint on the mid palate. Citrusy finish with long acidic afterburn. My description fails in that it makes it sound like a light and floral wine. But taken altogether, this is wine is rock solid, and it hasn’t even begun to develop. — 5 months ago
Hibiscus, sorrel, magenta, cherry, strawberry, cranberry acid over tannin — 4 years ago
Cute label with a nautilus. Pretty color with a hint of rose petals. Smells like hibiscus red zinger tea and cranberry sauce. Flavors are mellow and warm. Fruits in a toasted Danish. Finish is tannic yet likable. — 6 months ago
Touches of wet stone, hibiscus, floral but not fruity. Richer than expected and ultimately perfect for a shellfish meal. — 4 years ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary aromas of raspberries, hibiscus, and dried herbs; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced intensity primary flavors of sour cherries, pomegranates, and strawberries with a long finish. This wine is balanced and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too. — 4 days ago
