Sherwood House

Sherwood Manor Merlot Blend 2005

On the nose, red berries, herbs, spice, and cedar. It was finely balanced on the palate, with flavors of strawberry and slight peppery notes. This wine showed beautiful structure leading to silky tannins on the finish but with enough fruit to keep it pleasant, focused and fresh. Longest tasting note for me. Joyful — 8 months ago

Glen Manor Vineyards

Hodder Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2014

So not much has changed in 3 yrs since first trying this in the tasting room. The profile is lean and linear. 69 CS 16 Merlot and the rest PV. This clearly the weakest build of Jeff’s run of left bank builds. The 2014 was classic, so not huge numbers for the CS. THE TEXTURE IS LOVELY though. ;) 90+ for sure, keeping the streak ALIVE!! — 3 years ago

DuMOL

Highland Divide Pinot Noir 2021

Medium Ruby color, purple hues, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral, herb and complex spice from a high elevation wine. On the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry and strawberry with pepper, tea, herbs, licorice and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, long finish, ending with spice, ripe fruit and warm floral tones. Very Nice! — 6 months ago

Glenfarclas

30 Years Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

This just gets better as it opens but also liked it more in isolation. When you are tasting a lot of scotches this one starts to get lost. It’s gentle, subtle, smooth. You can’t I would argue flipping between 5 other strong profile drinks. — 4 years ago
