Óptimo vinho com um sabor excepcional — 6 years ago
Met up with @Kimberly Anderson and her hunky husband Chad at Proxi in Chicago and brought a few bottles. The La Mish was youthful but very open and broad knit. A wafting bouquet of crushed rock/violets, blue and black fruits and just an amazingly seamless, powerful, texturally vibrant wine. Had an amazing time with the Anderson’s and my Pop as well :) — 8 years ago

"Best beer I've ever had" -Dory — 9 years ago
Absolutely wonderful Gevrey. Maybe lacking one tiny smidge in complexity and depth, but I’m sure that would come with age. Very dark and somewhat dusty red fruit on the nose and palate, maybe a bit of cassis. Excellent length and freshness. Great acid, and a great pairing with sole meunière and John Dory in butter sauce at Le Duc in Paris. — 2 years ago
Potent; funky; tasty. — 5 years ago
Juicy, hay, red berries, with long acidic finish. One of my favorites! — 6 years ago
A medium red that pairs well with a variety of food — 6 years ago
Delightful, especially with the roasted John Dory and saffron scampi.
Minerality but smooth, perhaps some white peach and a marshmallow/meringue that develops as it warms. Keep off the chill! — 8 years ago

Nice balance of grapefruit and lemon. Perfect with our John Dory fish dinner. November 2023. — 3 years ago
Unfortunately, this bottle had Brett, but it mellows and fades to the background, while the wine is very good with lively acidity lifting bright red fruits, coco notes, and just enough vegetable notes to give i tension and aromatic lift. — 5 years ago
This wine is like a purebred horse at the race track. It’s consistent loves a little black licorice treat and opens up beautifully after warm up. You’ll get notes of candied orange and leathery spices like some hunky stable man let you pet the ponies. — 8 years ago
Loved! Very easy to drink — 9 years ago
Went very nicely with Shrimp, Orzo and olives. Also John Dory with a similar prep. $35, Bleu Olive, Durham NC — 9 years ago

My first ‘blanc’ from Côte des Nuits. Somewhere straighter, less buttery than Côte des Beaune. Nice acidity, lemon peal, vanilla. Medium length. Paired With John Dory in Le Havre. — a year ago
