Pretty, pretty label. Eye catching. And screw top is nice. Dark with a rusty edge. Smells a bit funky. Earth, herbs, ground. Pine cones? Little bit of elderberry. Flavors are meaty and tasty. More berries. Like really good blackberry and licorice. All sorts berry flavored. This is not as inky and bowl you over as some high altitude Spanish Granacha is, but it’s got plenty of acid and hits the right tones everywhere. Very likable. — 5 years ago

Aspirational label with all the raised embossed stuff and the gold on black. But light weight like it’s not supposed to be aged. Well I’m doing 2012 in 2021. Interesting mix (Temp, Granacha, & Cariñena). Dark-ish. Slightly ruby. Smells like mashed tart berries of some sort. Rhubarb. Rhubarb and strawberry crisp filling before it’s cooked. Also something vegetal and green. Like cut shoots on a spring willow. Flavors are nice. Balanced, biting and juyceyyy! Lots of kinds of cherries and berries and some minty, bright streak. Lingers long with well made berry jam notes. This is a nice blend right out of the gran Españ a playbook. So damn juuuiiicy! — 5 years ago

The nose reveals; pink grapefruit, tangerine, strawberries, watermelon near the rind, hints of rhubarb, blood orange, sea spray, mild volcanic minerals, chalk, light fruit roll-ups, fruit blossoms and pink roses.

The body is thick, gluey and shows some frizzante. It’s fresh, lively and easy to drink. Especially, outstanding on a warm day. Candied fruit of; pink grapefruit, tangerine, strawberries, watermelon near the rind, hints of rhubarb & blood orange. Some white spice with a shade of heat, a herbal presence, sea spray, mild volcanic minerals, chalk, light fruit roll-ups, fruit blossoms and pink roses. The acidy is bright and near perfect. The finish is; rich, ripe, lush, balanced fruit & earth and is delicious.
