Unusual and very flavorful rich champagne. Slightly sweet and toasty. Peninsula Paris. — 3 years ago
Quite light golden yellow colour . Quite deep yellow fruits , touches of pastry , roasted nuts . Very complex needs a bit of time to open. On the palate pretty big , yellow fruits again , with that pastry element . Long and elegant acidity, with mineral , saline finish . Now and for the next 5- 7 years . — 4 years ago

1994 Screaming Eagle. Dinner w J&L B and D&M H while staying with D&M in Santa Ynez. Opened and waited about an hour. Decanted right before serving. Tons of jammy dark fruit. Opened more in the glass. JB mentioned full palate and balance. Great finish. Preferred this to ‘91 Dominus once this opened up. — 7 years ago

Great value at 50$ paid. Clear Meunier influence, apple, peach, slight toast. Medium acidity, long finish for base bottle. Base 2019, disgorged 2021, quite low effervescence — a month ago
