Deep ruby in color, almost purple; cassis, black cherries, and cedar on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black plums, berry jam, and baking spices with a medium finish. Nellie says it's ok, and I like it. We both think it goes well with a steak. — a year ago
Ripe blackberry jam, black fruits, violets and milk chocolate on the nose and palate. Light notes of leather and smoke are also present. Should pair well with mint & cumin lamb chops. — a month ago
Smokey, with a hint of cherries, strawberry jam, and vanilla. A little less “earthy” and a little softer than other vintages I have had by this producer. — 7 months ago

Traditional Bordeaux style blend. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of blackberry jam, violets and toasted bread. Palate is full of jammy black currant/berry flavors with additional notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, blueberry, graphite and baking spices. Full bodied and juicy. Not overly complex but very well made. A bit more bottle age is necessary for the wine to calm down a bit. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — a year ago
Deep inky purple and not a trace of brick. Heavy tar and jam (not off-putting) on the nose and not surprisingly a bit of alcohol. Delicious balance of jaminess and ripe black fruit. Enjoy in next couple years though to taste the fruit. Drinking with berebere chicken and rice. — 4 years ago

Strawberries, blackberries & berry jam in the nose with strawberries, blackberries, plums, raspberries and jam in the palate. A real fruit bomb. Paired well with both Parmesan & cheddar, ham & prosciutto and a cheese flavored cracker. Went well if drank prior to dark chocolate or a double chocolate brownie, but not as good as drank after. — 6 days ago
