Stunning petrol, slate, rainy day. Dampness. Good moldy smell. Serious foie gras terrine. So good. In a perfect space. Layered and serene. Just slamming. Honeydew fruit. Juicy and complex. Freshness from minerality. Huge finish of minerals and sweetness but not much acid but doesn’t matter. Juicy. Really long. Candy corn on the nose after air. — 4 years ago

Years ago used to treat myself to this maker once a year, but then my local store stopped bringing them in & I lost contact. Such a marvelous blend of concentration & finesse: Asian pear, ginger crystal, and white peach. Not a light bodied Kabinett, just gorgeous. Not a stand out vintage if I remember right but they are all pretty damn good. — 3 years ago
