Little to no aroma, which is odd. Lots of plum and blackberry. Low tannins. Enjoyable and balanced finish, which surprised me. No wonder this wine is so popular. Feels like great value for the price point. — 3 years ago
Very good, smooth red especially for the price! — 6 years ago
For the price, a great bargain especially coming from a winery such as Pine Ridge. Crisp, citrus with pear. Slightly sweet. Perfect summer wine that goes down very easy. — 6 years ago
Exceptional. Price value ratio, outstanding. Anyone who knows these wines knows that they are traditional, old school style riojas with that extra layer of finesse that sets them apart, but many of the other vineyard bottlings require extensive aging beyond even what the winery sometimes deems appropriate. This, on the other hand, has many of those characteristics we all love, but with the freshness and lift that makes it so drinkable and food friendly today. Having had 2008 and 2009, the 2010 is truly a cut above. — 7 years ago

What a fun, easy malbec for the price!
Finished a bottle in college once. Was in the attic watching TV in a party house. Nostalgic vibes only. — 5 years ago
Soft tannins, light, notes of black pepper and some fruit I can't totally place... something kind of sweet and juicy, perhaps cherry. Really drinkable and pleasant, especially at this price point. — 6 years ago
Good cab for the price. — 7 years ago
Eric liked a little more than Jill, for the price at least. Good peppery taste. Above average. — 8 years ago

Not a very dry sparkling wine but a lovely background floral note. Really liked this. — 6 months ago
Deep red, with hint of oak and dark plums. Decent for the price. — 3 years ago

Great Californian Cabernet at a reasonable price point. — 6 years ago
Well balanced Cab from Oak Knoll in Napa. Very drinkable and just enough complexity to keep it interesting. This 2015 is just starting to show and would benefit from another year or two in the bottle. Big, bold, and balanced. Would be interested in trying other “reserve” wines from Black Stallion. Good value for this price point. ($25) — 7 years ago
Needed 3 hrs. Great — 8 years ago

Been a bit since my last but still do not think much of the style of their Cabernet. Especially, given its price point.
2022 Napa Cabernet’s more than less boil down to when did you harvest, before or after the 10 days of intense heat during the harvest window.
