This wine is not the Blaubinger cuvée identified by the app. It’s just the Kettmeir Pinot Nero. It is shockingly good. Very smooth and silky. Mild dark cherry and a little spicy. Mild tannins with a very full mouthfeel. I would investigate other Pinot’s from Alto Adige in light of this wine. — 10 days ago

Decidedly cool climate Italian Pinot Grigio, nicely lean, great acidity, but some fatness shows up in the Finish (as Pinot Grigio/Pinot Gris is wont to do), medium-long finish, very fine!! — a month ago

First wine for ‘ National Drink Wine Day’! Aged white. Has a golden, straw color. Like a shiny wedding ring. Smells of honey and lemons. Just a hint of rain soaked concrete. Flavors are unique. Citrus buried under a bit of mellow Gouda cheese. Or maybe havarti. Get slight lemon peel in it. Has plenty to offer even with 8 years of aging. Elegant and ‘fancy’ feeling. Very balanced. Zippy, but just slightly ‘buttery’ or creamy. This is great white wine. — a month ago
