Enticing, darker Pinot from southern Jura. More black fruit than red, some undergrowth, fresh, mineral, a touch of dark sweet cherry. Evolves in the glass beautiful.
On the palate this has surprising grip, but is also so juicy. Fresh berries, cherry acidity, a mineral backdrop. Focused, with great energy & depth and yet such flow. Cool, dark, delicious Pinot.

Cabaret Sauvignon 2018 - pretty dry and dark — 5 years ago
This is quite enjoyable with depth and a smooth finish of dark stone fruits. We had the 2015 Cooperage Blend that’s 80% Merlot, 10% Cabaret Sauvignon, 7% Malbec, and 3% Syrah. — 6 years ago
Super excellent. Slightly dry, light fruit, beautiful. — 8 years ago
Mild fruit with soft tannins. Not a particularly memorable cabaret sauvignon but a nice wine once it opens up. — 9 years ago
The Shiraz gives a blackberry and spice aroma and the cabaret Savino gives flavors of cassis. Full bodied Australian wine. — 10 years ago
Cherry, cranberry, raspberry, currant and pomegranate. Medium-bodied and soft tannins. — 7 months ago
Heavy bodied strong cabaret with strong flavors. Light acidity medium tannin taste and great with strong tomato pastas. — 6 years ago
Good wine. A tiny bit sharp like a cabaret can be but really nice. — 7 years ago

As close to perfect Cabaret as it can get, perfect color, great aroma, wonderful texture and overall outstanding wine. So far, our favorite hands down. — 9 years ago
Lovely fragrant notes of violets, chocolate, dark fruits.... rhubarb, plums

This isn't a Malbec, this is the cabaret franc. It's delicious! Spicy, a little tangy. Hints of strawberries and blueberries. Medium tannins. — a year ago

Almost a desert wine. Reminds me of a port wine with the body of a cabaret. — 5 years ago
Cabaret Sauvignon 2016 surprisingly good. Light acidity medium bodied not harsh at all — 6 years ago
A NV red blend from Sicily (champagne-esque??)
Last bottle from a cheapo half Case of curated world variety.
This is syrah, Merlot and cabaret sauvignon blend celebrating 20 years of blending.
But Will it blend?
13.5% ABV
Dense blueish red with significant legs 👀
Dried plum and amarena cherries with hints of pepper, cloves and vanilla. And Some cinnamon finish👃
Medium + body.
High acidity.
Sweet and tart ripe Cherry, crushed raspberry and fig first followed by dark chocolate, tobacco, and red spicy peppers. Some tar all along the way 👄
Medium + dry 🎯 with tingling strong but balanced tannins. Dryness stays firm on 👅
Feels very balanced but a technical one. Well-made but no goosebumps.
Good vfm (65 nis as part of the half case)
Paired well with soft 🧀. Acidic 🍅 made fruit come much forward.
Not too bad. — 7 years ago
Wild blackberries, licorice, and black currant. A classic, textbook California cabaret from the SC mountains. Even at 4 years old, it was surprisingly smooth after 30 minutes of decanting. A long, structured finish and a nose that permeated the table 18 inches away. A total masterpiece! — 10 years ago

Not called Baroness anymore this mid level HB 2025 vintage is exploding out of the glass. Took a minute to get my bearings instead of restraint and editing it’s a full out cabaret of a wine with lively melon gooseberries and passion fruit on an edgy substrate of salinity and limestone. Went incredibly well with prosciutto and honeydew. Once I adjusted I found it magnificent. — 2 months ago
