In great shape for our Christmas Eve celebration. Darker color than expected, red fruit and herbs on the nose, silky mouthfeel, but a shorter finish. Drink the 2012 now. — 6 months ago

First encounter. Nice deep golden color, candied tropical fruits and hints of spices, surprisingly lively even at 15%ABV though there’s a bit of heat in the very long finish. — 3 years ago
2nd label but still pretty classy: tons of character & Left Bank flair: cherries & red currants, cigar box, vanilla, cassis, some herbaceousness, palate was delicious w/red fruit & cassis galore, silky, finely integrated tannins, nice weight and balance. Length on finish is the only giveaway this is not classified growth. Overdelivers for price point. Safeway Steal — 4 months ago
