Fruit-driven Cab from 20-25 years old vines in Isla de Maipo, just south of Santiago. Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Quite jammy nose with aromas of dark fruit (blackberry, cassis, blackberry gummies), red fruit (strawberry, strawberry jam) and hints of bell pepper and tobacco. Medium-bodied, ripe fruit flavors. Very fresh on the palate. Long, spicy finish — 2 years ago
Amazing albariño. Citrusy, bright, light, and refreshing. Drank with chickpea salad, broccoli, turkey meatball, naan.
Geoff: good. Only white wine I’ve ever liked! — 4 years ago
Dark cherry aroma, medium body, drinks like a Cab Sauvignon with a Merlot after taste. Paired beautifully with a spicy, slow braised pork stew. — 4 months ago

Didn’t know what to expect from this one, but a great dinner wine. — 3 years ago
This is one of the best wines I've ever had, if not the best. I've visited El Legado, so maybe I have a bias here. But I'd recommend this wine to anyone. It has a powerfully complex taste that will keep you thinking about it long after you've finished the bottle. I drank this bottle one year after being in El Legado, and it was still perfect. — 4 years ago
