Daou tasting. So good. — 9 months ago
Daou is producing some many good wines in Paso. I wasn’t keen on opening a ‘16 but I needed to try one to determine my aging strategy for the remaining bottles. This is a pop n’ pour! So much balance and harmony for such a young wine. If I can keep my hands off if them, they will stay in the cellar for decades. The high end wines coming from Daou are amazing ( Patrimony, Soul of a Lion, Patrimony Des Lions etc). — 2 years ago
We had 2020 when dining. Will definitely hunt this down at Dan Murphy’s — 2 months ago
I tried a xinomavro !! What? You’re not ecstatic for me, you think I should shut up? Now just a garbage patch minute I’ve been a wine folly holder and proletariat alcoholic but this wine is from greece it’s got history okay bud. I’m steaming like hams with flagrance and verisimilitude. Watch the attitude. This wine smells like olives and tastes like some too. 100 golden lions — 2 years ago
Celebrating the Brisbane Lions winning the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon over the Sydney Swans. This champagne was mid yellow in colour with a fine mousse. A fruit driven palate with citrus and peach. I don’t drink a lot of Champagne but this was a real crowd pleaser. Full flavoured with 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir. — 5 months ago
Blend of Semillon (54%) and Sauvignon Blanc (46%). Vivid golden color. Lovely nose of citrus, white flowers and fresh thyme. Tropical fruit and green apple flavors on the palate with hints of pear, roasted nuts and a distinct mineral note. Fresh herbs galore on the lengthy finish. Medium bodied and extremely vibrant. Crisp acidity, nice freshness and a wonderful texture. Stunning! — 10 months ago

Definitely stronger aroma and taste on the first day. However still very drinkable and enjoyable on 2nd day. Finished it off to the Commanders upset win over the Lions. #IRideWith5 — a month ago
