Great wine with seafood dinner. Beeswax, lemons, honey, saline, maybe some other citrus. Really lovely. — 19 days ago
Pale lemon in color.
Medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing limes, lemons, green apples, light wood, earth, herbs and minerals.
Nice finish with limes and almonds.
This is a very young Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley in France.
I had a few vintages of this wine and it is definitely better with age. Needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly, but starting to drink nicely now.
This 9 year old Sauvignon Blanc drinks very fresh and young. Elegant and easy drinking.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.
Good by itself or with food.
13% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Superb with Foie gras. No rush to consume this at all. — 11 days ago
Wine 1, with rack of lamb. As my drinking history shows, Raffault is a perennial favorite. 2017 is easy access with medium weight, wild red berry fruit, tomato leaf, and earth. Drink over the next five years. Holding ‘09, ‘14, ‘15, and ‘18 with patience. — 10 days ago
Prodigious stuff—acid is absolutely ripping and the color is the only hint that this is a 15 year old wine. Long, long life ahead — 4 days ago
So good with 20 plus years of bottle age. — 12 days ago

2023 Le Mont Sec is so full of golden Chenin character despite its pearly glint.
Close your eyes and its thick pierced red apple skin, browning cores and buckwheat honey with a strong floral character.
My favorite dynamic of sweet suggestions, dry deliverable. — 7 days ago
