From the only winery on Skiathos, a very pale Provence style rosé made 50/50 from Limnio/Xynomavro - fresh, crisp, with just a hint of red fruit over the fresh melon, underripe peach and dried herbs. Juicy acidity, barely a hint of tannin, and surprisingly good depth & length.

Super funky nose, but taste does not match! Lush blackberries, herbs and eucalyptus, twigs! It’s Greek @Ryan Colthorp — 5 years ago
Quite deep ruby , garnet rim . Spicy , earthy , dark plum , cherry, cassis . On the palate dark fruits , cassis , plum , cherry with grafite and some wood spices , slightly sweet fruited finish . Nice balanced acidity and rounded but noticeable tannins . Very alive . Now and over the next 5-8 years . @ sexyfish London — 5 months ago
Dry, but juicy. Floral with a hint of raspberry and strawberry. — 2 years ago
Vintage 2016 / Biowine. LimNeon is said to be the oldest known grapevariety of Greece. Half transparant colour. Lots and lots of fruit in this fruit-druiven wine: cherries, cassis, plums. It is a sheer pleasure to enjoy this wine. Very far in the distance some resemblance to Beaujolais. / Paired with pork cutlet (schnitzel), carrots and Opperdoezer Ronde potatoes — 5 years ago
A v. fruity, light summer red with some crunch. 50/50 Limnio / Xynomavro.
Strawberry compote! Plus morello cherry, mulberry, with some pomegranate & a whiff of hibiscus.
Brilliantly juicy with bright fruity acidity followed by juicy, crunchy tannins.
Vibrant, fresh, so juicy with a bit of bitter almond toward the finish.
V. Interesting, must be served chilled. — a year ago

I picked this off the menu at a fabulous new Greek restaurant in Toowoomba where the food was superb. A new grape on me - 50% Limnio and 50% Merlot. Red and black fruits with a touch of liquorice. Very flavoursome and easy to drink. — 2 months ago
