#moschofilero Gaia Estate in #Greece is solid. I’ve enjoyed almost all of the wines. — 3 years ago
Just okay here. Developed. It has some complexity due to the barrel and bottle maturation and the tannins are smooth but the wine lacks fruit expression and intensity and feels slightly overripe and slightly dull. #greece #rapsani #xinomavro #krassato #stavroto — 3 years ago
Vintage 2015 / Last tasted two-and-a-half year ago. The wine has a in inviting smell with citrus and vannilla. Harmonious taste with excellent balance. Has gained richness. Partnered with redfish and pumpkin risotto. #greece #malagousia #assyrtiko grapes — 6 years ago
Vintage 2010 - tasted blind, to fool my Barolo loving friends (@Berry Marinussen and @Noel Geisen recognized xinomavro, bravo). Xinomavro is Greece’s answer to nebbiolo, says Hugh Johnson. Very light colour, minerals in smell, plums. A bit difficult taste, certainly not middle-of-the-road, high in bitters and much power. Lots of character, I’d say. After aeration it’s smooth, though. Very interesting to taste. #greece #xinomavro pff, it’s an acquired taste, says my winefriend. It is 😉. — 7 years ago
This winegrower is perhaps the best in #Greece This is smooth as silk and very fluid and balanced. High #drinkability #elegant — 3 years ago
Vintage 2016 - rich wine! Some fennel and peach, vannilla, robust. Very long aftertaste, always a sign of quality. #assyrtiko #gaia #greece — 7 years ago

This is one of the better red wines I’ve had from #Greece The wine has ripe red fruit, hints of spice and hints of cedar and toast from an oak maturation. I don’t particularly like the oak flavors of this wine, seem slightly chocolatey toasty and take away from the fruit. On the whole, a nice bottle of riper #pinotnoir — 3 years ago
