Bought this just to “try” with several friends at a home get together of several grilled meats; pork, beef and lamb “pieces”. The wine seemed to work nicely with all. Deep, strong hints of fruit and good tannin; I was a bit surprised because of the blends but found it to be a keeper. It has become one of our favorite wines to bring to others when visiting! Good reviews from all who received it!

Old style Barolo, still a little of bite! — 5 months ago
Dark ruby hue. Exquisite bouquet of fruit, with aromas of blueberry, pepper, plum, saline, vanilla. Plus body, with plus tannins and plus acid. Superbly balanced and elegant, with a lengthy, memorable finish. Tannins are already well-integrated, but this is something to drink on special occasions. 85% Cabernet Franc, 15% Malbec. — 7 months ago
