2020 Pietra marina - Etna Bianca superiore. Golden straw coloration. From Mila, birthplace of carricante, why it’s superiore. On the nose, citrus, herbaceous, salinity and minerality. On the palate, rich mouthfeel, citrus, herbs, salinity from the sea, and a finish of herbs (tarragon?) and minerals. Interesting- combo of Chablis and Chardonnay. This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 2 months ago
