Drank over multiple months and had my last glass last night. Best port I’ve had! Would love more to compare it to. Light brown color with great clarity. Lovely texture and depth with ample caramel, maple syrup, butterscotch, and brown sugar. Awesome!! — 4 years ago
Red gold body with a Matisse sketched white ring and merengue peaked, sheet-lacing. Clean citrus nose exhibiting clementine and dried pineapple, Meyer lemon and a faint funky-persimmon and lotus. There is something pleasant about the naturalness of the aromatics here with dried lemon verbena and Calloway seed. Orange and tangerine eclipse the lemon on the palate and add sweet grapefruit, and a clove note that tightly binds the whole. The bitterness being mitigated by the maple was brilliant here! Makes the Dogfish 90 seem clunky in comparison. I am a fan of this manifestation. Careful crafting and a simple solution to tune aggressive hops. There is no maple flavor btw. .

Wow. Botyris on nose but then pineapple maple bacon . Gorgeous — 3 years ago
Baked blood orange, honey, roasted pineapple, maple syrup, candied nuts, ripe white flowers on the nose. Awesome underlying acidity. Medium finish of praline, vanilla custard, honey. — 3 years ago
After an hour or so of air, this is just gorgeous. Bright blackberry fruit, just-cracked stone, spice, a woodsy fungus thing, and a hint of pale maple syrup. Full- bodied and powerful, but with no jamminess or excess flab. Lots of stony minerality. Great pairing with mesquite-grilled grass fed burgers. — 5 years ago
Like a maple syrup cocktail, delicious. A bit more expensive than most 20 years, but I think it’s worth it. — 5 years ago
