Nice aromatics with cherry and red currant. With some autumn leaves and Forrest floor adding complexity. Gripping on the palate but the tannins habe a juicy quality and the purity of fruit is very nice. A delight right now but this one can hold for years to come. — 6 years ago

A real charmer, full of dark, ripe, sweet berries, a pinch of spice, some kirsch, a whiff of gingerbread. Very sexy.
On the palate this is medium bodied, round, smooth, velvety with ripe dark fruit, a hint of dark chocolate nibs, with a fresh, herby note, juicy acidity and a very smooth, long finish. The alc (14% alc) is slightly noticeable but overall this is a true crowd pleaser!
