Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of four days. Best on Day 1 and Day 2 though, still enjoyable on Day 4. Personally, I just think the freshness in day one and two was more redeeming. The 2020 pours a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe bramble fruit, black cherry, new leather, carnations, dried thyme and subtle baking spices. On the palate, the white is dry, medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose with the addition of a coffee character, more like espresso. The finish his medium+. This is a notable, modern take on Chianti Classico without the DOCG. Drink now through 2030+. Solid with pizza. — 5 months ago
Some buzz around this producer so approached with some anticipation. Restrained white flowers & confectionery Turkish delights on nose; mouthfeel quite smooth & elegant, w a stronger Riesling & Chenin Blanc presence, more of those white flowers & some RS. I’ve aged some other producers Timorasso w excellent results so see no reason this can’t do same, but this is drinking well young too. — 19 days ago
A Sangiovese driven wine with a delightful vivid ruby red with notable violet hues. On the nose is highly persistent in the fruity and spicy notes.
The one is already in its prime time, well-balanced between acidity, and approachable tannins. Tends to be a bit fruitier with some red berry compote with a juicy mouthfeel and moderate finish, which makes it savory as the spices shows on back-end of the palate as well. Cheers! — 2 months ago
Not sure where I am at with Timorasso but this wine had a lot going on. Fascinating aromatics and crisp and lively on the palate. — 6 days ago
Very Lovely! picked this up at Total Wine in late 2024. Were initally a little concerned that cork was dry and broke on opening. Can't recall price but it was probably $20. Perfect for a Sunday supper of ravioli and neatballs. Would definitely buy again. — 4 months ago
2021 vintage.
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Tuscany.
Deep, dark ruby red colour.
Blackberry, bay leaf and herbal on the nose.
Smooth tannins with dark plums, boysenberry, tobacco and vanilla.
This wine is inexpensive and loves anything coming off the BBQ. — 8 months ago

Had this vintners Timarosso same night & both lived up to the hype. A decade of age has made this Barbera blend a deep, soulful expression which I had not yet experienced in such a blend. Game, ripe ripe cherries sing once a decent decant tames the initial shrillness & one note balsamic dimension. Special, for old school fans. — 19 days ago
