Established in the 1750s by winemaker Pietro di Mastro Berardino. Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruit, spice, floral and oak. On the palate rich fruit flavors of cherry and black raspberry with sweet spice, full oak and slight herb notes. Big grippy tannins, savory, lingering ending with a lot of oak but should soften with time. Very nice! — 6 years ago
Dried flower petals and peppers, spicy, good balance, medium high tannins. Great value, I enjoyed it very much. — 3 years ago
Berry and complex, good for the price. $16 — 6 years ago
Dry white wine. Greco. Citrus & tropical fruits. Soft. Perfect as aperitif! Enjoy with fish & light fare. — 4 years ago
Bridges the gap between Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Barberra. Dry but not dull. The 2010 was perfect in 2020. Not overly fruity. — 4 years ago

Drank it for my 62nd birthday at Mastro Restaurant in Costa Mesa on 12/10/22 with Miral, Kyle and Gabby. Drinks better with a little aeration. Absolutely love it!! — 2 years ago
