Fee-nominal…the winner (so far) of the 2010’s PV challenge. At 11.5 years from harvest, this beauty from Matthieu Finot sang like a concentrated Right Bank medoc…layers of dark berries, violet & herbs with smoky matting. Opened yesterday and had a glass and thought it was ok. Another day and wow. Fantastic. Ripe plums and some earth, leather but just a pinch. Maybe a bit of eucalyptus. Plenty of tannins. Sign me up for more!! — 7 months ago
