Dark fruit notes. Big flavors of leather, smoke, bacon, spices and Oak. Full bodied with quite a bit of tannins without being too tannic. Nice and big Zin.

Dismissed by many as too jammy or too ripe, I’ve always thought this is the fun bottling. This ‘21 is no exception. Beneath the slightly over extracted ripe dark fruits lies quite complex aromas and flavors of figs, sweet spices, dark chocolate, smoke meat, and hint of balsamic. Rich palate but not overbearing. In a good vintage like ‘21, this can benefit for 5-8 years of bottle age.
My guilty pleasure. — 3 months ago
Great CA Chardonnay. Balanced, not overly oaked, not really buttery. Fresh and delicious lemon, yellow apple, underripe pear. It doesn’t have the electric acidity of the Adank Swiss Chardonnay I just tried, but it’s delicious in its own softer, more subtle way. Speaking of Swiss, I’m using a cup for tonight’s cheese fondue on a snowy night. — 19 days ago
Good flavor and went well with lasagna. — 4 days ago
Oddly enough it does connect with you more each time you have some. Most enjoyable to have multiple small servings spread out over the day or a couple days. Not overbearing but still has good body. — a month ago
Probably not technically as good as it tastes. This is a big, rich, flavorful wine with lots of dark fruit and high in alcohol at 15% which is most noticeable upon opening so let it breathe. I like to just sip it but also enhances food especially roasted red meats and strong cheeses with crusty bread. Wine snobs will undoubtedly be critical but so what! It’s just a good solid inexpensive wine that tastes good. Enjoy b — 5 days ago
Rich jammy flavor. Good finish. I really enjoyed this wine. Very good value for the price. — 2 months ago

Modest gold color. Stone fruit, lemongrass, and maybe a hint of vanilla on the nose. Same on the palate, which is well integrated. Medium depth and finish.
