Nose is faint, fully resolving into the body. Body is soft and supple but wonderful experience on the palate with medium finish. Great wine. Tannins are still there, but holding the body with gossamer gloves. — 13 days ago

[Tasted on August 22, 2020 at Home with Tom and Kathy]
Purchased wine during 2018 visit to winery. Blackberry, black currant and black cherry fruit, with graphite and spice. — 5 years ago
Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, black cherries, and wood smoke; on the palate, dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of black currants, red bell peppers, black pepper, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little high in alcohol. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. It may need a little more time to open up. — 8 days ago
Warm, juicy. Lots of fruit. A hint of overripe fruit. A touch of coconut. — a month ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, cedar and baking spice. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and strawberry with cola, floral and sweet cinnamon herb spice notes. Full-bodied, fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, toasty oak, herbs and a savory earthy mineral character. Nice! — 7 days ago
