A little off-dry. Not as perfect with dinner as I intended, but that’s on me. — a month ago

Plum and dark fruit, with notes of earth, licorice, meat and spice. From McMinnville AVA. Rhone-style wine. — 10 months ago
2021 Vintage as good as always. Happy days. — 2 years ago
So many prior notes, I’m not going to go into detail here, but in my mind, there’s a paradox here... Katz (the winemaker) has stripped away the usual embellishments, and produced a minimal, laser-focused SB. The major notes of exotic fruits and acidity ring as clear as a bell. Brilliant. — 4 years ago

Perfect cork.
Fantastic ripe plum notes to the nose and palate. I don't know the exact blending percentages of the grapes, but assume CS is dominant since it's listed first on the back label. But, the Merlot is most prominent at this age and it's singing a beautiful song tonight after 3H in the decanter. Last bottle from release purchase in April 2006, winery direct. — 24 days ago
