Dark straw in color. Nectar and honey on the nose. A delicious semi-sweet wine with apricot, honey, cinnamon, pear, and candied peach on the palate. High acid, medium body, and a long finish. Eleven years on and drinking beautifully. — 7 months ago
Earthy, smooth, medium bodied. Very nice. — 3 months ago

I purchased the bottle specifically for paring with spicy hot pot as I rarely drink sweet Champaign and wanted to give it a try.
Beautiful nose of blackcurrant, raspberry, ripe strawberry, orange peel, chalk, and hint of warm spices. Fine persistent mellow mouse. Acidity can barely keep up with the 45g dosage. There is pomelo-like bitterness to keep the sweetness in check as well.
Too sweet for me to drink on its own, but it was a fantastic pairing.

I love this one. It is a good wine to enjoy anytime. Vino jerez. — 6 years ago
This is exactly what it’s supposed to be. Problem is that it’s not exactly what I want in wine. Dessert Wine: yes yes the syrupy aroma clearly lets you know what’s ahead. The fruit flavors are hidden behind the nectar but full flavored and fulfilling its purpose. — 4 years ago

Vintage 2001 | This is such a treat, honeyed nectar, which I poured at a farewell of my colleagues, and even people who drink wine in a irregular base like this. — 2 months ago
