Very mineralic at first. Blueberry's, pepper and a very mouthwatering acidity. With some air the fruity es will grow stronger, remarkably strong but never like jam. Always light, funky and with a touch of pepper and a hint of leather. A Zweigelt to remember. — 3 months ago

Alfred Hrdlicka label - borderline almost X-rated. Wine excellent. I really do like his whites. At Vino Carta in San Diego. White pepper, lemon and Gooseberries - Great stuff / One of the benchmark wines folks should try. Was introduced at Bells in Los Alamos to this winery. Needs about. 1 hour to open up. — 2 months ago
didn't expect this much depth and complexity when it was poured into the glass. excellent — 8 months ago
Dank, deep rose with classic Austrian red - blaufrankisch, st. Laurent, Zweigelt - notes. Plenty to mull over and also heavy enough for roasted/grilled meats. — 9 months ago
well balanced, the welschriesling gives it an amazing green apple crisp & the gruner humbles it with white pepper notes to make the overall taste to be less comparable to a cidre — a month ago
Tasted orange/orange rind, a bit of red pepper, but also smooth on the finish! Had at Noma. — 3 months ago
Light and bright, similar to a pinot, but in my opinion, better. Lots of red fruit, but with deeper character too. — 8 months ago

For a blaufrankish with over a decade of age this wine was still young and vibrant — 4 days ago
