I tried this beer from Michigan at the new Craft + Carry on 7th Avenue in Chelsea. It’s an excellent crisp wheat beer. Another domestic favorite. — 6 years ago
This Kingsguard from LIC Beer Project is a DDH New England Style IPA. Rich fruit that gives way to a distinctly bitter finish. Good but not as smooth as some of its peers.

Here’s the deal: I’m not actually looking for a ton of complexity in a beer. Gimme a *balanced* dosage of hops, a bright palate, maybe some citrus, a crisp and clean finish. Better still if it’s local. All this makes Driftwood a go-to ale in our house. 🍂🍺 — 8 years ago
Mid-weight IPO with bright notes. Very easy drinking and quite satisfying. Enjoyed at the beer/burger bar at the new Whole Foods 365 store in Concord, CA, which uses Delectable's innovative in store product that helps customers choose the perfect wine/beer/spirits. — 9 years ago
The best creamy beer I've ever had. — 9 years ago
Thought I’d had all the Trappist beers out there, but this was a new one - absolutely beautiful w/gorgeous rich mahogany color & dark blonde highlights, complex aromatics w/distinct layered spice, roasted nuts, caramel, malty goodness - smooth across palate enveloping sweetness. Not the most elegant but bursting w/flavors & handles 8% rather well — 5 years ago
Nice amber beer. Nice and malty. Reminded me of Yuengling. — 7 years ago

Porkslap: ridiculous branding, absurd label but for its type, a pretty serious beer. — 8 years ago
Great beer, only wish they sold it outside of Wisconsin — 8 years ago
This is excellent. Crisp, a bit of hops, a bit of bread, perfect super bowl beer. — 5 years ago
Tang-sequel coloration with perfect equilibrium and crown persistence. Wig white, even dissipation reminiscent of fine cigar burn. Striating lacing of cartoon chompers and snowy tangle of wildwood. Pleasant malty and citrus interplay punctuated by oranges and pink grapefruit wild strawberry tart with caramel and sweet tobacco and Turkish coffee from a distance. Paisley lacing ensues. Lemon oils and candied grapefruit peel frame a tangerine occurrence and sparkly mineral stardusting, and a textural approximation of peaches that adds pliancy. After the initial fruit, and subsequent sips your mouth builds up the bitter units to tangible topography that lingers. Overall, a well crafted and thoughtfully restrained offering from an iconic producer. You can sense that they wanted to get this one right. Lacing remnants: gothic text with horror overtones on one side, middle command graphics, and a t-Rex-alligator-puma logo for your new pumped up kicks. .

Mid nineties in Havana calls for a cold beer. Rather tasty and hit the spot. Want to cheers all the wonderful people we met and wish them the best. We were lucky to make it to this beautiful city the week before the new sanctions went into effect. Hopefully it will be short so the good people of Cuba don’t suffer too much. — 7 years ago

This shit tastes like what I think of when I think about beer. I’m a sucker for beer in a wine bottle (750 mill). Fresh, fruity and not too hoppy but there’s a bite. Very aromatic. Surprisingly strong. I think this is a good everyday “come home from work and drank” beer. The bonus is the 9% ABV good beer to bring to the function for all to enjoy! Cheers 🍻 — 8 years ago
The Caymus of the Central Coast. Inky with massively extracted red and black fruit, and in a mode not unlike pie filling. Not to be denied, it's loaded with vanilla, baking spice, fig, and a few drops of root beer extract. The aura of charcoal and new leather weave throughout, all with an edge of tilled earth. Translating this from taste and smell to sight and sound, this is walking into a brand new casino. — 9 years ago
