Chambave Vallée d'Aoste Fumin Petit Rouge 2020

Delicious, but quite the departure from the style of wine from this region I am used to.

Medium to medium+ body, More fruit forward with the typical bitters you find in petit rouge (95%).

Barolo Nebbiolo 2017

Delectable Wine
9.1

The 2017 Barolo is a pretty dense wine from proprietor Nicola Oberto. I am used to seeing a bit more finesse and transparency here, but the 2017 is quite a powerhouse. Large-grained tannins add to that impression. Time in the glass brings out hints of spice and tobacco, and yet the 2017 remains a bit rough around the edges. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2021)

Sorelle de Nicola

Feyles Langhe Nebbiolo 2009

2021 autumn. Some initial brown funk blew off after a bit, allowing the soft, open-knit nature of the wine to show through. Plenty ripe in this vintage, and thus not the most taut, but a very enjoyable country Nebbiolo — 4 years ago

Borgo del Tiglio (Nicola Manferrari)

Collio Chardonnay

Like a stack of poker chips, layers stand symmetrical and equally distant of fruit, spice,, salinity, minerality, and soil, gorgeous blend that shows terroir through the cepage! — 10 months ago

Borgo del Tiglio (Nicola Manferrari)

Milleneuve Venezia Giulia IGT Bianco White Blend 2018

Mandarins, herbal and mineral
Quite balanced, elegant and fairly long
Milleuve is a misleading name, it doesn't give the idea of the care they put in every single wine they make at Borgo del Tiglio.
It can age i am sure
