The 2017 Barolo is a pretty dense wine from proprietor Nicola Oberto. I am used to seeing a bit more finesse and transparency here, but the 2017 is quite a powerhouse. Large-grained tannins add to that impression. Time in the glass brings out hints of spice and tobacco, and yet the 2017 remains a bit rough around the edges. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2021)

Wow, this is drinking really nicely in 2025 nice freshness, beautiful garnet, color, floral nose, earthy but light on his feet touch a dark cherry maybe a bit of spice but really nice — 3 months ago
Mandarins, herbal and mineral
Quite balanced, elegant and fairly long
Milleuve is a misleading name, it doesn't give the idea of the care they put in every single wine they make at Borgo del Tiglio.
It can age i am sure — 3 years ago
Medium ruby in color; blackberries, plums, and dried leaves on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like strawberries, hibiscus, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. I like it. — 5 days ago

Like a stack of poker chips, layers stand symmetrical and equally distant of fruit, spice,, salinity, minerality, and soil, gorgeous blend that shows terroir through the cepage! — 2 days ago
