This is the Malbec from Howell mountain, small production and super cool wine.
Wild blue and black fruits come through with a touch of gaminess to begin with. Has a bit of acidity but it’s medium bodied and hangs pretty well.

Beautiful old Cabernet! Dark red in color, bright fruit, beautiful old Cabernet. Wild mushrooms a forest floor with bright bing cherries. — 6 years ago
Brilliant straw-yellow. Fresh citrus and orchard fruit aromas, along with hints of toasty lees and honeysuckle. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering juicy pear and Meyer lemon flavors that slowly deepen through the midpalate. Finishes long and floral, with a lingering hint of spiciness. Drinking really nice right now. Dark fruit with a brightness to it. The baby fat is gone and its maturity is starting to show. It rides the line between modern and old school Napa effortlessly. — a month ago
