Lemon zest, Stone Fruit and something herbal. Weighty and creamy. Delicious. — 4 years ago
This is the Malbec from Howell mountain, small production and super cool wine.
Wild blue and black fruits come through with a touch of gaminess to begin with. Has a bit of acidity but it’s medium bodied and hangs pretty well.
Overall - lovely and delicious wine. Nice change of pace. — 5 months ago
Brilliant straw-yellow. Fresh citrus and orchard fruit aromas, along with hints of toasty lees and honeysuckle. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering juicy pear and Meyer lemon flavors that slowly deepen through the midpalate. Finishes long and floral, with a lingering hint of spiciness. Delicious Zin.
Good fruit pop and a solid backbone and structure to the wine. Wife said “this is a Zin?!?!?”
