Ha wiener again. Piedmont dolcetto that reminisces what I had in piedmont. Can't be better — 8 years ago
Delicious, paired with a rack of lamb, hope I have a couple more bottles — 2 years ago

Andrew Cullimore
Tasted blind. Quite deep , almost opaque garnet , terracotta core , browning rim . Quite high toned nose , dried earth , touch of liquorice spice , meaty dark cherries , touch of coffee, menthol hints . On the palate this is quite dense and dark meaty fruits , quite sweet anis tinged dark fruits . Quite high acidity and rather gritty tannins . Slightly dried herbal finish of ok length . Quite austere and forceful in style. This did improve somewhat in the glass but never lost its slightly dusty , rustic style . For drinking now and over the next 5 years , I don’t see this improving much from here . — 2 days ago
